Chlorphenamine injections are one of the most common first-generation antihistamines used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and urticaria. Chlorphenamine also has antidepressant and anti-anxiety properties.
Chlorphenamine injection is used to ease allergic reactions from insect bites and stings, for acute urticaria, angioneurotic edema, drug and serum reactions, desensitization reactions, hayfever, vasomotor rhinitis and severe pruritus of non-specific origin.
