What is Levamisole + Oxyclozanide?
Active Ingredients: Levamisole, Oxyclozanide
Levamisole + Oxyclozanide Boluses are a combination anthelmintic drug used to treat infections caused by roundworms, lungworms, and flukes. This combination of two types of anthelmintics shows a broad spectrum of activity against endoparasites and is suitable for treating infections in cattle and sheep.
Levamisole is an imidazothiazole, which works by causing the paralysis of the parasite. It is effective against adult and larva stages.
Oxyclozanide is classified as a salicylanilide that works by interfering with the worm's metabolism. It is active against adult liver flukes, trematodes, bloodsucking nematodes, and larvae of hypoderma and oestrus spp.
