Albendazole has a rapid mechanism of action (1 to 3 hours after ingestion) is a strong anthelmintic and increases the animal’s immune system response (an immunomodulator), while oxyclozanide has a slow mechanism of action (24 hours after oral ingestion) and acts as a powerful flukicide.
