- You have severe liver, kidney or lung problems;
- You have an allergic reaction to tramadol HCL;
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Use of tramadol HCL during pregnancy or breastfeeding can result in a neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome. Consult your doctor or health care professional before taking tramadol HCL.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. The usual dose for adults is 50mg. Use of tramadol HCL for children is generally advised against but can be done under the supervision of a specialist.
Tramadol may interact with antidepressants, ADD/ADHD medications, and other pain relievers.
