Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have: acute porphyria (an inherited blood disorder, causing skin blisters, belly pain, and brain or nervous system disorders), are semi-conscious or in a coma (unable to wake), have a bone-marrow disorder, a growth on the adrenal gland called a phaeochromocytoma, or a hormone (prolactin)-dependent breast cancer.
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially any of the following: liver or kidney problems, heart problems, high blood pressure, or history of fits, lung diseases or breathing difficulties, or any difficulties in passing water.
Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist that you are taking this medication.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of sulpiride during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking sulpiride capsules.
