What is Pregabalin?

Pregabalin Capsules are a drug used to treat certain types of seizures in children and adults. This medication can also relieve neuropathic pain and may be used in the treatment of some anxiety disorders and fibromyalgia. Pregabalin may be used alone or in combination with other medicines.
Pregabalin is an antiepileptic/anticonvulsant agent. It binds to the calcium channels found on nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. By this binding, it reduces the release of various neurotransmitters which are involved in transmitting messages between the nerve cells of the brain and spinal cord.

What is Pregabalin used for?

How are Pregabalin Capsules used?
This medication has been manufactured to be taken orally. Pregabalin Capsules should be taken with a full glass of water.
What dose should be taken?
The usual dose for adults is 50-300mg, taken once per day, or 300mg, taken twice per day.

Side Effects

Precautions
