Product Information
General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Mefenamic Acid capsules.
Mefenamic acid capsules are a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve mild to moderate pain, including menstrual pain. It decreases inflammation (swelling) and uterine contractions by a still unknown mechanism. Its acid works by stopping the body’s production of a substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation. It is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by arthritis.
There is also evidence that supports the use of mefenamic acid for a premenstrual migraine headache prophylaxis.
