Cefixime Powder for Suspension, an oral third generation cephalosporin antibiotic, is used for reducing the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintaining the effectiveness of cefixime and other antibacterial drugs.
Cefixime powder for suspensions are indicated in the treatment of infections such as:
- Pneumonia;
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections;
- Ear infections (otitis media);
- Lung infections (acute bronchitis and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis);
- Throat infections (pharyngitis and tonsillitis);
- Uncomplicated gonorrhea (cervical/urethral).
