Active vaccination prevents or reduces the severity of infections due to this virus. It can be administered by oral/intraocular drop or drinking water.

Each dose of the Infectious Bursal Disease Vaccine contains live attenuated Infectious Bursal Disease virus (B87 strain), Titer ≥ 103.5 ELD50. It is a thermo-stable compound that is suitable for hot climates.
