General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Erythromycin Lactobionate powder for injection.
Erythromycin Lactobionate Powder for Injection is an antibiotic that treats gram-positive bacteria, respiratory pathogens, and mycoplasma. Specifically, it can treat pneumonia, Rhodococcus equi pneumonia, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, and Histophilus somni.
Erythromycin lactobionate is available in several other forms as well, its most common being feed additives and tablets. It can be administered to cattle in conjunction with surgery to stimulate rumen motility after the surgery.
Do not use in female dairy cattle older than 20 months and do not slaughter the treated animals within 6 days of the treatment. Store at room temperature in a sealed container away from light. Do not freeze. Keep at a pH of 7-7.5.
Side Effects:
As with all veterinary medicine, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of erythromycin lactobionate powder for injection. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.
Erythromycin side effects include but are not limited to dizziness, convulsions, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, cramps, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting.
