        Diminazene Diaceturate + Antipyretic Granule is an antibacterial and antiprotozoal active against babesia, piroplasmosis, Trypanosoma, and trypanosomiasis. Diminazene is an anti-infective medicine that can also be effective in killing certain bacteria such as Brucella and Streptococcus.

        Diminazene is di-amidine and used in the form of the aceturate.

        It is likely that it prevents DNA replication, thereby preventing bacteria and protozoa from reproducing, but it also may work by affecting the RNA of the bacteria and protozoa. Diminazene Diaceturate helps to eliminate the parasite Cytauxzoon felis which causes mortality during its acute phase in cats.

        Antipyrine, also known as phenazone, is an analgesic and antipyretic.
