General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Water for injection.
Water injections, USP are indicated in the aseptic preparation of parenteral solutions.
Water injection, USP is used for fluid replacement after suitable additives are introduced to approximate isotonicity and to serve as a vehicle for suitable medications.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of sterile water injection. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. When sterile water for injection is used in small doses, no common side effects have been reported. Seek medical attention if the following develop severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); fever; redness, swelling, or tenderness at injection site.

Do NOT use bacteriostatic water for injections for:
- Do not use for intravenous injection unless the osmolar concentration of additives results in an approximate isotonic admixture.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of water injection during pregnancy or breast feeding, so consult your doctor or health care professional before using bacteriostatic water for injection.
Reactions may occur because of this solution, added drugs or the technique of reconstitution or administration include febrile response, local tenderness, abscess, tissue necrosis or infection at the site of injection, venous thrombosis or phlebitis extending from the site of injection and extravasation. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with bacteriostatic water for injection.
