Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how primaquine phosphate tablets affect you.
Do NOT use primaquine phosphate tablets if:
- Allergic to ingredients.
Primaquine phosphate tablets must not be used during pregnancy as it can cause birth defects. The effect of primaquine on breast milk and a nursing infant is unknown.
Consult your doctor or health care professional before taking primaquine phosphate tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: 15mg daily for 14 days.
Possible interactions include but are not limited to: pencillamine, quinacrine, and drugs that cause decreased blood cells. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with primaquine phosphate tablets.
