        Product Information

        General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of ramipril capsules.

Ramipril belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors. Ramipril works by relaxing blood vessels and with this action, stress, and pressure is reduced in the heart and at the arterial walls.

Ramipril mechanism of action lowers blood pressure, lowers risks associated with dangerous pressure readings, and also enable the cardiac chambers to be free from pressure/stress.

Ramipril lowers the arterial pressure because it reduces the production of angiotensin 11 which is responsible for transmitting signals that increase blood pressure.

When angiotensin11 is minimized, the failing heart does not have to work hard to pump blood; pressure is also reduced in the arterial walls of the body.

Ramipril is metabolized to ramiprilat at the hepatic system.

Ramipril renal excretion is 60% and its fecal excretion is 40%.
