Chloroquine Phosphate is manufactured and used for the malaria treatment and suppression of malaria, and certain types of parasitic infection. Chloroquine is an aminoquinoline and is understood to kill sensitive malaria parasites by stopping normal metabolism inside the parasite.

As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of Chloroquine Phosphate Injection. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Seek medical attention if the following develop: black or tarry stools, bleeding gums, peeling or loosening of the skin, blurred vision, chest pain, confusion, dizziness, fever, fast heartbeat.
