Artesunate + Amodiaquine is a potential combination manufactured for inhibiting intensification of drug resistance and for malaria treatment. Artesunate and amodiaquine tablets are an antimalarial agent. Artesunate is ideal for the treatment of uncomplicated cases of malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum malaria, including cerebral malaria, and amodiaquine is a 4-aminoquinoline compound related to chloroquine used as an antimalarial and anti-inflammatory agent.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of artesunate + amodiaquine tablets. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Common side effects include, but may not be limited to diarrhea, skin rash, itching, and nausea. Seek medical attention if the following develop: irregular heart beating, diplopia, dizziness.

Driving or operating machinery should be avoided, as it does may cause dizziness.
Do NOT use artesunate + amodiaquine tablets if:
- You are hypersensitive to the active substances or to any ingredients within the drug.
- You have a history of liver injury during treatment with amodiaquine.
- You have had a previous hematological event during treatment with amodiaquine.
Use of artesunate + amodiaquine tablets during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not indicated any problems for a fetus and/or baby. Consult your doctor or health care professional before taking the medicine.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. The recommended dosage is 10 mg/kg base once daily for 3 days
Interactions with drugs used for the treatment of HIV and/or tuberculosis may occur, and as well as this there are several other known interactions with this drug. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with artesunate and amodiaquine tablets.
