Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Artemether + Lumefantrine Tablets.
If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Driving or operating machinery should be avoid, as it may dizziness.
Do NOT use Artemether + Lumefantrine Tablets if:
- You are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following: amitriptyline, antiarrhythmics, other anti-malarial medicines, anti-psychotics, azole antifungals, clomipramine, fluoroquinolone antibiotics, imipramine, or macrolide antibiotics.
- You are using carbamazepine, efavirenz, enzalutamide, hydantoins, mefloquine, evirapine, phenobarbital, primidone, rifamycins.
- You are taking hormonal birth control.
Use of Artemether + Lumefantrine Tablets during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be limited. Consult your doctor or health care professional before having artemether and lumefantrine tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. The usual dose for adults is 4 tablets as a single initial dose, followed by 4 tablets after 8 hours, and then 4 tablets twice a day (morning and evening) for the following 2 days (total course: 24 tablets) If an adult is less than 35kg use the pediatric dose. Usually, dose for children is 5kg to less than 15 kg 1 tablet, from 15kg to less than 25kg 2 tablets, from 25kg to less than 35kg 3 tablets.
Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before treatment with lumefantrine and artemether.
