        Product Information

        General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of vitamin c injection.

Vitamin C injection is given to pets and livestock to treat and prevent vitamin C deficiency and scurvy (in susceptible animals), to help prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs), and support overall health. Vitamin C also works as an antioxidant and protects the body against oxidative stress.

It is important to note that AdvaCare’s Vitamin C is for veterinary purposes only, and whilst there are types available for human use, you should only use the kind that has been prescribed by a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for an animal.

        Side Effects:
As with all veterinary medicine some unwanted effects can occur from the use of vitamin C. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use. Vitamin C may cause some side effects in animals, with diarrhea being the most common.

For a comprehensive list of all possible vitamin c injection side effects, consult a veterinary physician.

If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please seek veterinary medical treatment immediately.

        Additional Information

Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist before using vitamin C injection.

If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call a veterinary physician or animal care specialist.

Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or a worsening of the problem. The usual dose is as follows:

Horses: 5-10ml by intramuscular injection regularly twice weekly.
Dogs: 1-2ml by intramuscular injection regularly twice weekly.

Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with vitamin C injection.
