What is Paracetamol + Diclofenac?
Active Ingredients: Paracetamol, Diclofenac
Paracetamol + Diclofenac Injection is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and control fever in horses and livestock animals like camels, cows, goats, sheep, and pigs. This drug is intended for administration by intramuscular injection only.
As an NSAID, Diclofenac displays analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. Though the exact mechanism of action is not known, it is known to inhibit cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) shows a strong ability for pain management but exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity. Though the exact site of action is unclear, it is thought to work by either inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis or activating descending serotonergic pathways.
