General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of eprinomectin injection.
Eprinomectin Injection is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic medication belonging to the macrocyclic lactone class of endectocides. It is a unique avermectin and is primarily used in beef and dairy cattle.
Eprinomectin injection provides control of internal and external parasites, including lungworms, gastrointestinal roundworms, sucking and biting lice, grubs, chorioptic and sarcoptic mange mites, and horn flies.
It is important to note that AdvaCare’s eprinomectin injection is for veterinary purposes only, and altho’ there are types available for human use, you should only use the kind that has been prescribed by a veterinary doctor or animal care specialist for an animal.
Side Effects:
As with all veterinary medicine, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of eprinomectin. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.
Eprinomectin and other avermectins have been known to cause pupil dilation, depression, staggering, blindness, coma, and death in dogs that have ingested or come into direct contact with these drugs. Any suspected contact should be reported to a veterinarian immediately.
Eprinomectin injection should not be used in animals with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to the drug.

Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or a worsening of the problem. The usual dosage is as follows:
The recommended dose of eprinomectin is 1ml/10kg (22 lb) body weight, to achieve a dose level of 500mcg eprinomectin/kg body weight. This drug should be applied to all cattle in the herd.
Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with eprinomectin.
