Specimen
A feces, vomit, pleural, or ascitic fluid specimen should be collected using the cotton swab, which is provided in a sterile blister pack. For a valid test result, the swab should be sufficiently wetted.
The cotton swab has to be placed in a buffer dilution immediately after the sample has been collected. In order to continue with the test, it is necessary to administer the drops of buffer dilution onto a specific area of the test cassette.
Form
Cassette is a plastic box with a test strip contained inside. Each testing cassette features an area for sample placement and a window in which the lines will be displayed as a positive, negative, or invalid test result.
