Specimen

The dog's saliva is to be collected with the enclosed cotton swab, which needs to be sufficiently saturated for a valid test result. Alternatively, if dissection is an option, the cotton swab can be utilized to extract cerebrospinal fluid for testing.

After the sample has been obtained, the swab has to be immediately immersed in the buffer dilution. A few buffer dilution drops are to be administered to the test strip on the cassette in order to proceed with the test.
