        Product Information

        General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Cefradine powder for injection.

Cefradine Powder for Injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of infections in the urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues, bones, and joints. It treats upper and lower respiratory infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, acute and chronic bronchitis, and bronchopneumonia. It can also treat septicemia and endocarditis.

Cefradine antibiotic powders are fairly similar to Penicillins, though Cephalosporins are more stable to pH and temperature changes. Cefradine is a first-generation Cephalosporin that is very active against gram-positive bacteria and moderately active against gram-negative bacteria. Cephalosporins are derived from 7-aminocephalosporanic acid and contain a β-lactam nucleus. β-lactamases may also target penicillin.

        Side Effects:
As with all veterinary medicine, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of cefradine powder for injection. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.

Side effects include but are not limited to diarrhea, fever, chills, unusual bleeding, and increased thirst.

For a comprehensive list of all possible effects, consult a veterinary physician.

If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please seek veterinary medical treatment immediately.

        Additional Information

Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist before using Cefradine.

If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call a veterinary physician or animal care specialist.

Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or a worsening of the problem.
