General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Multivitamin + Iron Supplement.
Vitamin B1, also known as Thiamin, helps to produce energy, B2 is also known as Riboflavin and helps with vision and skin health. B6 keeps bodily functions operating at best by forming red blood cells and brain chemicals. Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a powerful and water-soluble antioxidant to help strengthen blood vessels and body muscles. Since the human body doesn’t generate this vitamin, it must be received through food and supplements. Its benefits include the prevention of scurvy, boosting the immune system, and treatment of the common cold, wounds, and asthma.
Tocopherol, also known as Vitamin E, can only be obtained as a food supplement. It has antioxidant properties that protect against toxins, such as pollution, eye disorders, and diabetes. Vitamin E is also a blood thinner which prevents blood from clotting and speeds up cell regeneration, which is good for anti-aging. Folic acid helps the body produce and maintain cells, particularly red blood cells.
Iron is an important component of hemoglobin. Taking iron in supplements can improve a low hemoglobin level. Hemoglobin is the protein molecule in red blood cells with the function of carrying oxygen from the lungs to the body tissues and likewise returning carbon dioxide from the body tissues back to the lungs, also providing cells with the energy to function and maintaining the normal shape of red blood cells.
Abnormal hemoglobin can disrupt the red blood cell shape and impede the function and flow of the red blood cells. A low hemoglobin level is typically only slightly lower than the normal amount and won’t affect bodily function much. However, very low hemoglobin levels may indicate anemia, low red blood cell count. Anemia is caused by such factors as the loss of blood, nutritional deficiency such as excessive dieting, bone marrow problems including suppression from radiation, kidney failure, and abnormal hemoglobin structure (such as sickle cell anemia). A low hemoglobin level may lead to extreme fatigue, bruising, fainting, and in extreme cases, blood clotting. Multivitamin + iron supplement helps to avoid the symptoms of low hemoglobin.
