What is Xylometazoline used for?

It's used to temporarily relieve nasal congestion that is associated with allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and the common cold.

How is Xylometazoline Nasal Spray used?

This medication has been manufactured for nasal use only. Do not spray into the mouth or eyes.

What dose should be taken?

For nasal congestion, the usual dose for children from 2 to 12 years old is 1-2 sprays in each nostril, given every 8-10 hours. Do NOT use Xylometazoline Nasal Spray for longer than 3 days.

Side Effects
