Do NOT use promethazine if:
- Liver disease;
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
- Sleep apnea or other breathing disorder;
- A history of seizures;
- A sulfite allergy;
- Problems with urination;
- Adrenal gland tumor;
- Low level of calcium in the blood;
- Have a history of having serious side effect while using promethazine or any other phenothiazine.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of promethazine during pregnancy or breast feeding, so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking Promethazine HCL.
