What is Oxaliplatin?

Therapeutic Class:

Active Ingredients: Oxaliplatin

Oxaliplatin Injection is an antineoplastic drug used in cancer chemotherapy. It is indicated for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. Oxaliplatin is used in the adjuvant treatment of stage III colon or rectal cancer in patients who have already had surgery to remove the tumor.

It has been tested with some positive results for head and neck cancers, skin cancer, lung cancer, and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.

Oxaliplatin is an analogue of cisplatin and is the first successful platinum-containing anticancer drug. The active ingredient is an alkylating agent, which works by interfering with DNA development in a cell. It stops the cell from dividing and therefore kills the cancer cell.

AdvaCare is a GMP-certified producer and supplier of Oxaliplatin Injection. This medication is manufactured in our factories in China, India, and the USA. Our production facilities are regularly inspected and audited to ensure our products meet quality and safety standards.
