If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Do NOT use neomycin sulphate ointment if:
- You are allergic to neomycin sulfate or to other aminoglycoside antibiotics (such as tobramycin);
- You have any other allergies;
- You have medical history, especially of: hearing problems (including deafness, decreased hearing), intestinal problems (including blockage, swelling, ulcers), kidney problems, myasthenia gravis, Parkinson’s disease.
Neomycin sulphate ointment is created for cutaneous use only and should not be used in the eyes, nose, mouth and ears.
Over dosage, application frequency, and treatment duration of neomycin sulphate ointment should not be exceeded.
Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking before your treatment with neomycin sulphate ointment.
