It can also be used to help dry the skin and protect it from becoming irritated. This medication should be applied topically to the skin.

What dose should be applied?

For dermatitis, a thin layer should be applied over the afflicted area. It may be used as needed.

For diaper dermatitis, apply only enough to cover the afflicted area at each diaper change.
