AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Mefenamic Acid tablets.
Mefenamic acid tablets are used to treat moderate pain, including menstrual pain and migraines due to menstrual pain. Mefenamic acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of mefenamic acid tablets. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Common side effects include bloody urine, bloody stools, heartburn, increased bleeding time, increasing blood pressure, indigestion, itching skin, loss of appetite, back pain, nausea, pale skin, rushes, stomach bloating. Seek medical attention if any adverse effects occur.

Do NOT use dexamethasone if:
- You are allergic to mefenamic acid or any other part of mefenamic acid;
- You have an allergy to aspirin or NSAIDs;
- You have gastrointestinal bleeding;
- You are having trouble getting pregnant.
Do not take this medicine if you are in the third trimester of pregnancy. You may also need to avoid mefenamic acid at other times during pregnancy. Consult your doctor or health care professional before taking dexamethasone.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: 500mg orally once (initial dose), then 250mg orally every 6 hours as needed. Do not to exceed 1 week.
Some products that may interact with this drug include: amoxicillin + clavulanate, fish oil, esomeprazole, paracetamol, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin D3. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with mefenamic acid tablets.
