General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Lidocaine Hydrochloride gel.
Similar to Lidocaine Cream, Lidocaine Hydrochloride gel is used on the skin to stop itching and pain from certain skin conditions (e.g., scrapes, minor burns, eczema, insect bites) and to treat minor discomfort and itching caused by hemorrhoids and certain other problems of the genital/anal area (e.g., anal fissures, itching around the vagina/rectum).
Lidocaine hydrochloride gel is also used to decrease discomfort or pain during certain medical procedures/exams (e.g. sigmoidoscopy, cystoscopy).
Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that works by causing temporary numbness/loss of feeling in the skin and mucous membranes.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of lidocaine hydrochloride gel. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use.
Common side effects include temporary redness, stinging, swelling, rash, and itching.

Do NOT use lidocaine hydrochloride gel if:
- You are allergic to other amide type anesthetics (e.g. bupivacaine, prilocaine);
- You have any other allergies;
- You have a medical history, especially of: broken skin/infection in the area where lidocaine is to be used, heart disease, liver disease.
Lidocaine hydrochloride topical gel is created for cutaneous use only and should not be used in the eye nose, mouth and ear.
Overdosage, application frequency, and treatment duration of lidocaine hydrochloride gel should not be exceeded.
