What is Lamotrigine?

Therapeutic Class:

Active Ingredients: Lamotrigine

Lamotrigine Tablets are an anticonvulsant drug used to treat epileptic seizures in both adults and children. This medication is indicated as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder (manic depression) in adults. Lamotrigine may be prescribed alone or in combination with other drugs to treat these conditions.

Lamotrigine has shown promise for the treatment of migraines with aura and diabetic neuropathic pain. It is used off-label for rapid-cycling bipolar depression, fibromyalgia, schizophrenia, unipolar depression, panic disorder, and binge eating disorder.

Lamotrigine is an antiepileptic or anticonvulsant drug within the phenyltriazine family. Though the exact mechanism of action is not fully researched, it is thought to work by inhibiting sodium currents. This action slows down the electrical signals in the brain, which stops seizures.

AdvaCare Pharma is the manufacturer and exporter of Lamotrigine Tablets. We routinely inspect our production facilities to ensure our products meet quality and safety standards. We offer a wide range of high-quality and cost-effective medications that are available for distribution.
