Product Information
General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Hyoscine Butylbromide tablets.
Hyoscine Butylbromide Tablets, also known as scopolamine butylbromide and butylhyoscine are a peripherally acting antimuscarinic, anticholinergic agent used as an abdominal specific antispasmodic.
It is a quaternary ammonium compound and a semisynthetic derivative of scopolamine.
Hyoscine butylbromide tablets are used to treat pain and discomfort caused by abdominal cramps, menstrual cramps, or other spasmodic activity in the digestive system. The medication is also effective in preventing bladder spasms.
Hyoscine butylbromide is not an analgesic in the normal sense, since it doesn’t ‘mask’ or ‘cover over’ the pain, but rather works to prevent painful cramps and spasms from occurring in the first place.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of hyoscine butylbromide. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Seek medical attention if the following develop: dryness of the mouth, producing less sweat than normal, increased heart rate, itching, rash, allergic reactions such as skin reaction, anaphylactic shock such as difficulty breathing, feeling faint or dizzy, and painful red eye with loss of vision.
For a comprehensive list of all possible hyoscine butylbromide side effects, consult your doctor. If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please call your doctor immediately.
