What dose should be taken?

For iron deficiency anemia, the usual dose is 65-130mg (elemental iron), taken daily or 3 times per week.

Avoid drinking or eating peppermint while taking Ferrous Fumarate Tablets. Avoid having milk or dairy product within 2 hours of taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine with high-fiber foods.

Limit the duration of use to no longer than 6 months at a time.
