AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Erythromycin Enteric-coated tablets.
Erythromycin Enteric-Coated Tablets are an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It is a macrolide antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Erythromycin enteric-coated tablets do not treat viral infections.
Erythromycin enteric-coated tablets can treat such conditions as: whooping cough, chlamydial bacterial infections, sinus infections, pneumonia, a bacterial infection of the cervix, sinusitis from Streptococcus pneumoniae, skin infections, inflammation of the urethra, brown patches in armpits, syphilis, throat infections, leigonnaires disease, acute streptococcus, strep throat, and more.
Enteric-coating protects the tablet from inactivating effects of gastric acidity. It also permits efficient absorption of the antibiotic in the small intestine of the patient.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, from the use of erythromycin can side effects occur. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Common side effects include, but may not be limited to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and heartburn. Seek medical attention if the following develop: signs of liver disease, unusual tiredness, hearing loss, severe dizziness, fainting, irregular heartbeat.

Do NOT use erythromycin enteric-coated tablets if you are:

Use of erythromycin enteric-coated tablets during pregnancy or breast feeding should only be if the medication was prescribed by a doctor. Consult your doctor or health care professional before using erythromycin enteric-coated tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: 250mg every 6 hours or 500mg every 12 hours.
Possible interactions include but are not limited to eletriptan, ergot alkaloids, medications for heart rhythm, ivabradine, and amiodarone. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with erythromycin enteric-coated tablets.
