What is Dextrose?
Active Ingredients: Glucose (Dextrose)
Dextrose (Glucose) Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution used to treat or prevent hypoglycemia and dehydration. This medication may also be used to dilute other compatible medical products for parenteral administration. Glucose 20% may be used to temporarily relieve symptoms caused by cerebral edema and from hypoglycemic coma.
Glucose is a sugar that is required for normal bodily functions.

Precautions
