This Injection may also be directly applied to the eyes following a chemical burn.

Ringer Lactate is also called "Lactated Ringer's Solution". It is a mixture of four salts: sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride, and calcium chloride.

Ringer Lactate (Hartmann's) Injection may also be used to wash the eyes after a chemical burn. It is directly applied to the area in this situation.
