What is Bisoprolol Fumarate used for?

How are Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets used?

What dose should be taken?
For hypertension, the usual dose is 2.5-10mg, taken once per day. The usual starting dose is 5mg (or 2.5mg if patient has bronchospastic disease) and taper dose over 1 week. The maximum dosage is 20mg per day.
