General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Atenolol tablets.
Atenolol tablets are used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents to treat hypertension, high blood pressure. Atenolol is also used to prevent angina (chest pain) and improve survival after a heart attack.
Atenolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers, a class of drugs used primarily in cardiovascular diseases It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate to improve blood flow and decrease blood pressure.
Store atenolol tablets at room temperature between 15 degrees C to 30 degrees C. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Indications and Usage

Overdose
If you take a larger dose than you should take, tell your doctor, pharmacist or health care specialist promptly even if you don’t feel bad. Bring with you the container and tell them about the amount you took and related timing. If you have symptoms like weakness, very slow heartbeat, shortness of breath or fainting, seek emergency medical attention.
Adverse Reactions and Precautions
If you are allergic to atenolol, do not take it. If you have serious heart conditions, slow heartbeats, heart failure, coronary heart diseases, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, diabetes, overactive thyroid, liver, kidney or peripheral vascular diseases, allergies or a tumor of the adrenal gland, inform your doctor in advance to make sure that atenolol is safe for you.
If you are pregnant, breast-feeding or you are trying to get pregnant, do not use atenolol as it may harm you and your unborn baby. If you are younger than 18 years old, avoid taking atenolol.
