        Product Information

        General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Antacid syrup.

Antacid syrup is a medication used to treat the symptoms of increased stomach acid, like upset stomach, heartburn or acid indigestion. It can also be used to relieve symptoms of extra gas or discomfort in the gut. Antacids in liquid forms, such as syrups, work better than forms such as tablets or capsules.

Our Antacid syrup formula is a combination of carefully selected ingredients, which help mend the symptoms, however, they do not prevent acid production:

        • Magnesium Trisilicate: An inorganic compound or antacid mixure, commonly used to relieve symptoms of indigestion, hearburn or GERD.
        • Magnesium Carbonate Light: Helps neutralise the extra acid in the syrup, acting as a base.
        • Sodium Bicarbonate: A commonly known antacid used to relieve heartburn and acid indigestion that can also make your blood and urine lass acidic.

        Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of Antacid syrup. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use.

Common side effects include: nausea, constipation, diarrhea, or headache. Rare but serious side effects can also occur, in this case, call your doctor right-away: dizzines, fainting, black stools, shallow breathing, slow hearthbeat, deep sleep, pain with urination, adbnominal pain.

For a comprehensive list of all possible effects, consult your doctor.

If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please call your doctor immediately.

        Additional Information

Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Antacid syrup. The medication should not be used if you are allergic to magnesium or you have any other allergies. The following health problems also may not be compatible with the use of Antacid syrup: frequent alcohol use, severe loss of body water, kidney problems. If pregnant, the medicine can only be used when really needed. For more information talk to your obstetrician. Also consult your doctor if breast-feeding.

If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
