General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Amiloride HCL tablets.
Amiloride belongs to the diuretic medications. It is used to treat such conditions as congestive heart failure and high blood pressure. It can also treat hypokalemia (low blood potassium levels).
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of amiloride HCl. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Common side effects include, but may not be limited to headaches, weakness, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, gas, constipation, muscle cramps, dizziness, cough, appetite change, impotence.
Seek medical attention if the following develop: increased thirst, decreased urination, tremors, confusion, yellowing of eyes or skin, high potassium symptoms, low sodium symptoms, loss of consciousness. For a comprehensive list of all possible effects, consult your doctor.

Do NOT use amiloride HCL if:
- Youre allergic to it;
- You have a kidney disease or a problem with kidneys caused by diabetes;
- You have high potassium levels, take a potassium supplement, or have another potassium-sparing diuretic.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of amiloride hydrochloride during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking it.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise.
Amiloride HCL possibly interacts with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonist, cyclosporine, or tacrolimus.
Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with amiloride HCL tablets.
