Additional Information

Do NOT use bleomycin sulfate powder for injection if:

  • Your disease is related to: malignant pericardial effusion; malignant peritoneal effusion; warts (intralesional); mycosis fungoides; osteosarcoma; AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma..

There is little evidence with regards to the use of bleomycin sulfate during pregnancy or breast feeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking bleomycin sulfate.

Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults depends on the disease, for example: for Hodgkin disease and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma the normal should be 2 units for the first 2 doses.
