Tilmicosin Oral Solution is an antibiotic drug used to treat various types of infections in animals like cows, poultry, pigs, and turkeys. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory infections, ovine mastitis, ovine foot rot, and interdigital necrobacillosis caused by susceptible microorganisms.

In poultry or turkeys, the 25% formulation is used to treat infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Mycoplasma meleagridis (turkeys only), and Clostridium perfringens.

Tilmicosin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis. Tilmicosin shows a broad spectrum of activity against Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, and Haemophilus, and also gram-positive organisms, such as Staphylococcus and Corynebacterium.
