Always consult a veterinary doctor or animal care specialist before using penicillin G procaine + dihydrostreptomycin sulfate injection.
If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call a veterinary doctor or animal care specialist.
Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or a worsening of the problem. The usual dose is for intramuscular administration. For cattle, 1ml per 20kg body weight for 3 days. For calves, goats, sheep, and swine, 1ml per 10kg body weight for 3 days.
Do shake well before use and do not administer to more than 20ml in cattle, more than 10ml in swine and more than 5ml in calves, sheep, and goats per injection site.
Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with penicillin G procaine + dihydrostreptomycin sulfate injection.
