General Information:

Fenbendazole + Praziquantel Tablets are a broad spectrum anthelmintic effective against gastrointestinal roundworms, tapeworms in dogs and cats.
Fenbendazole belongs to the class of benzimidazoles which is used to treat nematode and trematode infections in domestic animals. They are characterized by a broad spectrum of activity against roundworms (nematodes), an ovicidal effect, and a wide safety margin. Fenbendazole prevents the formation of microtubules resulting in disruption of structures vital to the normal functioning of the helminth.
Praziquantel is a pyrazine isoquinoline derivative that causes severe damage to the parasite integument, resulting in the contraction and paralysis of the parasites.
Side Effects:
As with all veterinary products, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of fenbendazole and praziquantel tablets. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.
Common side effects include: loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, and fatigue.

Precautions:
Avoid use in cats younger than 6 weeks and dogs younger than 4 weeks. Combined with Febantel can used for all ages cats and dogs and have been safe in pregnancy.
Usage for lactating cattle and sheep are prohibited.
It may be accompanied by teratogenicity and embryotoxicity, and should not be used before pregnancy.
Single dose is often ineffective for dogs and cats and must be treated for 3 days.
