What is Avermectin?
Active Ingredients: Avermectin
Avermectin Pour-On Solution is a dewormer drug used to treat and control parasites in cows. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of nematodes such as grubs, sucking lice, and mange mites. Depending on the infection, it may be necessary to combine this external treatment with an internal dewormer.
Avermectin is within the family of medicines called anthelmintics. It is derived from Streptomyces avermitilis fermented products. Avermectin works by inhibiting the function of aspects of the nervous system within the parasite.
