Timolol Maleate Eye Drops is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. Timolol maleate is used to treat elevated intraocular pressure in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma and occasionally secondary glaucoma, ocular hypertension.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of timolol maleate. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use.
Common side effects include, but may not be limited to: blurred vision, itching, burning, stinging, redness, eye irritation, headache, dizziness, watery or dry eyes. Seek medical attention if these side effects develop or more serious ones occur, such as: eye pain, swelling, discharge, irregular heartbeat, muscle weakness, mood changes, coldness or numbness and pain in feet and hands.
