Product Information
General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Primaquine Phosphate tablets.
Primaquine Phosphate Tablets are an antimalarial that prevents and treats malaria caused by mosquito bites. Malaria parasites enter the body through mosquito bites and can live in body tissues. Primaquine Phosphate is used after other antimalarials have killed malaria parasites in red blood cells. Primaquine Phosphate kills those parasites living in other body tissues, preventing the infection from returning. Both kinds of drugs are needed to completely cure a patient.
Primaquine Phosphate prevents a relapse of vivax malaria. Malaria is opportunistic, meaning it occurs more frequently in people with weaker immune systems, such as those patients with HIV.
