Indications and Usage
Omeprazole powder of injections are indicated in the treatment of duodenal ulcers, in the prevention and treatment of gastric ulcers and reflux oseophagitis, and in the long-term management of patients with healed reflux oseophagitis or Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
It is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to omeprazole.
Do not take omeprazole powder of injections if:
- You are allergic to omeprazole;
- You are using other proton pump inhibitors;
- You have severe hypomagnesaemia.
Omeprazole can be used during pregnancy. Omeprazole is excreted in breast milk but is not likely to influence the child when therapeutic doses are used. Consult a health care professional before using omerprazole.
Omeprazole is not likely to affect your ability to drive or use any tools or machines.
Administration and Dosage
