        Product Information

        General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Levocetirizine + Montelukast Syrups.

Levocetirizine + montelukast is a third-generation antihistamine. Levocetirizine + montelukast works by suppressing the production of
histamine. It blocks the binding of histamine to the H1 receptor. With this action, it halts a series of allergic reactions that come with histamine and H1 receptor binding. It also reduces broncho-constriction caused by leukotrienes. With this action, it reduces the symptoms of asthma and inflammation.

Both agents act as an antagonist and a combination of both potentiates their effects, so the medicine suppresses the activities of the body’s inflammatory mediators that respond to allergic reactions. Levocetirizine is excreted via the urine which accounts for 85.7% of the dose while montelukast is eliminated via the biliary system. Biliary excretions account for almost 87% of the dose.
